Why a detox cure?

Detox helps cleanse the body, prevent illnesses, and optimize the effectiveness of dietary principles.

Recommended frequency: a cure at each change of season, ideally in spring and autumn.

Observed benefits:
✨ More energy
🧠 Better concentration
🌬️ Feeling of lightness
✨ Brighter skin
😊 Improved mood

Liver detox (6 weeks)

The liver functions better when warm. Place a heat source on the right side of the abdomen after meals (e.g., a hot water bottle).

Diet adapted during liver detox

Favor green vegetables, black radishes, artichokes, and turmeric, as well as herbal teas like milk thistle or boldo.

Reviewing plate content during detox
Favor:

  • Ripe seasonal fruits
  • Raw or steamed vegetables
  • Whole grains
  • Organic and virgin vegetable oils
  • Spices: turmeric, cumin, ginger
  • Lean meats and fish
  • 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day

To limit or temporarily eliminate: sugars, industrial processed foods, cold cuts, cheeses, chocolate, coffee (in excess), alcohol, and tobacco.

Intestinal detox (6 weeks)

After the liver, intestinal detox optimizes nutrient absorption.

Tips to increase fiber intake

  • Fresh or dried fruits with skin (apples, pears, berries)
  • Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, beans)
  • Whole grains (whole wheat bread, brown rice)
  • Seeds and nuts (flax, almonds)
  • Hydrate sufficiently to promote the action of fibers.

💡 Tip: If you experience bloating, temporarily reduce fiber intake.

Fiber-rich foods (g/100g)

  • Wheat bran: 40-45g
  • Oat bran: 17-25g
  • Prunes, almonds: 15-16g
  • Oat flakes: 10g
  • Cooked artichoke: 9.4g
  • Cooked lentils: 7-8g

Plants to support intestinal detox 🌿

  • Mallow, marshmallow, frangula, cascara (avoid if hypertensive)
  • Aloe vera, peach tree, pale rose

Move to stimulate transit 🚶♀️

  • Daily walk
  • Stairs, cycling, swimming
  • Simple activities like intense cleaning

Positive attitude and well-being 💜

  • Take time for deep breathing
  • Practice meditation
  • Try massages or reflexology

Detox is a special time to listen to your body and restore balance. Take care of yourself.
